to find it. Whether you need transsportation to your chemotherapy treatments or just want a friendly face to talk to, the resources listed here may ease some of the many daily challenges faced by patients and their families.
- Books For People With Cancer
- Books about cancer, cancer treatments and personal experiences available in our bookstore for on-line purchase and delivered right to your door
- Diet and Nutrition
- Patients undergoing chemotherapy can speak to their nurse and request a consultation with a Scottsdale Healthcare Dietician specializing in Oncology. To arrange for a consulation please speak with one of our Oncology Nurses.
- Rehabilitation Services
- A variety of support services available at Scottsdal Healthcare can be scheduled through our Offices. Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapy are currently offered; as well as ostomy care and incontinence support. Ask to speak with one of our Oncology Nurses for further information.
- Support Groups

- We have received numerous recommendations for Wig Salons and Hair Replacement Centers from our patients. - Counseling and Spiritual Guidance
- Our Physicians and Nurses pride themselves on spending as much time as necessary with patients and their families. For those patients or family members desiring a more formalized counseling session, ask to speak with one of our Oncology Nurses for help in scheduling a visit with a Scottsdale Healthcare Social Worker or Clergy Person specializing in cancer-related care.
- Pain Control
- Your Nurses and Physicians have a variety of solutions for alleviating patient pain and discomfort. For certain cases, Scottsdale Healthcare offers a network of Physicians and Allied Health Professionals specializing in the relief of chronic pain.
